Female Caregiver Needed Mon-Wed - La Crescenta, CA

We have a female client WITH DEMENTIA in La Crescenta who needs help Mon, Tues and Wed from 9am-5pm.

-Duties

MOST IMPORTANT IS : YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH DEMENTIA

-She can be highly agitated and becomes upset quickly

-High fall risk, so stand by and assist.

-She can be aggressive because of the dementia
-She does wear depends but can go to the bathroom.
-Taking her for appointments, must have a car.
-Make sure she eats breakfast lunch and dinner. She will say she is not hungry but make food and convince her to eat. Breakfast (egg, toast and strawberries) Lunch and Dinner (Soup , salad and crackers. Or make something for her)
-She likes to talk. Companionship is important.
-Light housekeeping.

-Application Requirements:
The ideal applicant will meet the following requirements:
1. Have a car and car insurance.
2. Have a clean DMV record with no more than 2 moving violations.
3. Legal resident of the US.
4. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
5. Registered with the Department of Social Services (including live-scan fingerprinting).
6. Have at least one year of caregiving experience.
